The goofy calendars are available at the MSE Foundation table, as well as the Team Store. You can also find the calendar at Kettler, and you can order one online. At the Verizon Center, the calendar costs $20, online, it’s $30.
All of your favorite Capitals pose with puppies, and each month has a certain theme (we aren’t spoiling it, get one yourself!)
All proceeds go to the Homeward Trails Animal Rescue, a non-profit organization that provides pet adoptions for the D.C., Virginia and Maryland area. The Homeward Trails Animal Rescue’s goal is to reduce the rate of euthanasia and raise the adoption rate. Homeward Trails Animal Rescue also provides animal behavioral training, education to the public about how to take care of animals and they support active spay and neutering practices.
Most of the dogs in the calendar are actually from the Homeward Trails Animal Rescue.
So go get your Caps calendar, it’s for a good cause!
