Hey, the Florida Panthers are in Town, Zzzzzzzz
Today was a very early arrival, we are in DC to lounge on the National Mall and enjoy the weather before heading to Verizon Center.

Having never camped out for a fall game before this season, I am now at my 4th this season. Tonight they have a DJ out front and as I turn the corner onto F St, George Thorogood’s “Bad to the Bone” is playing, it is truly a great welcome to the Verizon Center!

#caps fans in great spirits tonight…a 7-0 win the night before does that to you ;) #LETSGOCAPS

A lot of the fans are on a high from last night’s Capitals Death Star destruction of the Flyers’ Alderaan. Most fans are telling me that I need a stuffed Emery doll to include in #HumpDay vids and to rip the head off. As much as I’d love to eviscerate an Emery doll, the NHL shop does not carry dolls for 3rd rate players who will likely not be in the league much longer. So the line-up remains Crosby, Giroux, and Lundqvist.
RT this to @NHL if you agree that Ray Emery should receive a lengthy suspension #SuspendEmery

Special Visitors
The mild-mannered William Stillwell stops by to say hi. Better known by his Superfan alias Loud Goat (@LoudGoat), we discuss last night’s game, thoughts on more minutes for the young Caps, and Goat testing the acoustics of the Verizon Center to determine his season seats. We wonder if we could just huddle me in the middle of fans and say I’m a child under 3.
Barbara Banks, Capitals Outsider writer and one of my first & biggest supporters, stops by on the way into the game to check up on me. She heads into the game….wait, does she have a press credential tonight, and can I borrow it to get inside the Verizon Center? I have met Alex Ovechkin’s family several times now, they stop by frequently when the attend games. Even tonight with Ovi out hurt, his Mom & Dad are here. So great they come out to support the team even when their son does not play. Ovi’s Dad comes over to say hi and pet me, gives me a cookie, takes some pics, and then takes a several minute video of me and the fans on F St. I have a few pictures with Mr. Ovechkin from last season, I don’t want to sic Dad on him with a camera, so I just enjoy the time with him tonight. I realize he speaks only Russian, note to self, learn “Please tell Ovi to sign my jerseys.” He then goes in to watch the Caps, see you again soon!
Game ON and time to race home!
Same tweet, same time, every game, only with a live picture!

CAPS WIN!
Despite some intense moments, the game goes to the Shootout! 3 Caps up, 3 goals scored!!! CAPS WIN!
#CAPS WIN! SKILLS WIN, we will take it! I am now 13-3 when greeting fans out front of Verizon Center!
— Ovie the Bulldog (@OvietheBulldog) November 3, 2013
The Caps record when this bulldog camps out in front of Verizon Center this season is now 3-1 and overall is 13-3!
Hurry, while supplies last!
With colder temperatures approaching, my time in front of the Verizon Center is slowly coming to a close until spring. Right now, Dad says 11/17 against the Blues and 11/20 against the Penguins may be my last two games until warmer temps come again. Hope to see you soon!
