What Semyon Varlamov Is Thinking

Former Capital Semyon Varlamov returned to DC for the first time since he was traded to the Colorado Avalanche. This is his third year with the Avs and he is in a contract year. He was very excited to return to Verizon Center and meet up with some of his old friends. We had him mic’ed up for warm-ups and here is what he (likely isn’t) thinking.

“Anyone but Fehr… Anyone but Fehr…”

“If we score five goals, do we get free wings?”

“Sure don’t miss this Verizon Center ice.”

“One thing I miss about this place – the bloggers.”
