Happy Birthday, Garnet “Ace” Bailey

Former Capital Garnet “Ace” Bailey would have turned 65 today, but his life was tragically cut short in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Bailey at the time was a scout with the L.A. Kings and a friend of former Caps coach Bruce Boudreau.

Bailey played four seasons with the Capitals, from 1974 to 1978.
