Capitals fans often find themselves wondering why so many local department stores carry Redskins, Nationals, Ravens and Maryland Terps gear but barely have anything Caps-related. In the last year or so, some of those places have gotten better, like Kohls, but then I walked into Lids, one of those hat-only places at malls. Lids, too, used to have everything but Caps hats, but this time I was delighted to see an entire rack with several to choose from, including Winter Classic leftovers if you still want to reminisce via headware. Even better, at Lids, you can get a custom embroidery on the side or back, like a “Ovie 8” or your lame initials.
