Alan May to Provide Color Commentary at AHL All-Star Classic

The AHL has announced that the 2017 All-Star Classic will be broadcast to more than 100 million homes across the US and Canada. In the US, it will be on more than 20 local networks, including CSN Mid-Atlantic. The network the broadcasts the Caps games.

As part of this, former Cap Alan May will do color commentary for the game on January 20 at the PPL Center, home of the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.  May is currently an analyst for CSN Mid-Atlantic.

May spent three years in the AHL, playing in 140 games. He earned 67 points while racking up 635 PIMs from 1986-1989. May was also an assistant coach for the Norfolk Admirals in the 2008-2009 season which featured NHLers such as Steve Downie and Karri Ramo.

Two Hershey Bears are going: Travis Boyd and Chris Bourque. Bourque will captain the Atlantic Division.
