The World Cup of Hockey group stage is over. Out of the nine Capitals, plus head coach Barry Trotz, only T.J Oshie, John Carlson, and Matt Niskanen will be heading back to Kettler for training camp earlier than expected after Team USA was eliminated.

Oshie, Carlson, and Niskanen all played in the three games for Team USA. Only Oshie was able to register a point, as the US only scored a total of five goals in the three games.

Dmitri Orlov does not have a point, but he is a +2 while playing on Russia’s top defensive pair.

Goalies Braden Holtby and Philipp Grubauer have not played for their respective teams nor do they expect to as neither have dressed for a meaningful game.
