Stingrays Reduce Roster

After a dismal preseason, losing 5-0 to Greenville Swamp Rabbits and 4-0 to Atlanta Gladiators, the South Carolina Stingrays have reduced their training camp roster by four. Forwards Louis Belisle, Ryan Kesti, and Miles Koules as well as goaltender David Jacobson were released.

While Belisle and Jacobson were released from their tryout agreements, Kesti and Koules were released from their ECHL contracts. The roster stand at 19 players:

Patrick Gaul
Colin Mulvey
Trevor Gillies
David Pacan

Defense:
Reid Campbell
Nick Jones
Nick D’Agostino
Joey Leach

Brendan Ellis

Goalies:
Vitek Vanecek
Mark Dekanich

Update: Later in the day, the Stingrays claimed forward Pete Massar off waivers from the Indy Fuel.
