Connor Carrick Supports the Troops
There are many reasons to like and root for Capitals defenseman Connor Carrick. Here’s another. Carrick is teaming up with Sticks for Troops, an organization that gets hockey sticks and other equipment to deployed military members, so they can play some HOCKEY while overseas.
While the organization has teamed up with other NHL players, including St. Louis’s T.J. Oshie, Carrick is the first Capitals player. Carrick posed the other day in his new Sticks for Troops T-shirt, with his sidekick.
