The Washington Capitals are in on the donut craze, because cupcakes are soooo out. Dunkin’ Donuts has released a Washington Capitals donut, which appears to mean the donut has red, white and blue goop on it. It’s available in all D.C. area Dunkin Donuts.
“Dunkin’ Donuts is proud to be the official donut of the Washington Capitals and is excited to release the new Capitals Craze donut,” said Colleen Krygiel, field marketing manager of Dunkin’ Brands. “The metro D.C. area has the most loyal and dedicated sports fans in the country, and Dunkin’ Donuts wanted to introduce a customized product that matched the passion of Capitals’ fans.”
