Name Your Five Favorite Caps Left Wings

Anyone else think Alex Ovechkin will win this vote? (Photo by Alena Schwarz)

Much like with right wings, the Capitals have had about 80 left wings on their roster since the 1974-75 season. To select the top 30 for voting, we’ll use the same criteria we used for the right wings. First, we’ll take the top 15 in games played, then re-sort and select the next 15 in total points. We also did everything in our power to ensure that Matt Cooke wasn’t included (okay, he only played 17 regular season games but you get the point.)

Note: These data were pulled from Hockey DB. It’s likely that they listed some guys on the opposite side that we didn’t catch when compiling the list.
