Offseason Fun: Team Goal Music

Does this sound familiar? That’s because we hear it so often, usually seconds after Alex Ovechkin nets a goal, jumps against the boards, blows a kiss to his brother in heaven and celebrates with his teammates. In fact, I found a website that has the music for each team. Just a warning – it gets addicting. Once you get started, you’ll find yourself listening to them all. Check it out here:

I really loved the days when we had this playing as our team goal song. I really dislike that there currently is no song and just the loud horn… I think it would make a lot of fans happy to have an energizing and fun celebration song again. If we can’t have the above song, than I think the hell yea song that Caps band plays with the yea yea yea part would work.. just a thought.
