Hershey’s Chris Bourque Suspended Three Games

Chris Bourque has been suspended for three games due to his illegal hit from behind during Saturday’s match up against the Springfield Thunder Birds.

Bourque was hit behind the net moments before he retaliated with boarding Springfield’s Alexandre Grenier.  The call on the ice was a 5 minute boarding call and a game misconduct.  Grenier would return shortly but then leave the game due to injury from the hit.  Grenier also missed Sunday’s game against the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.

Bourque did play on Sunday against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins but will miss the next three games due to the suspension.

The Hershey Bears will face the Hartford Wolfpack (March 24th and 25th) and the Bridgeport Sound Tigers (March 28th) during this time.

Bourque is set to return to the line up when the Hershey Bears travel to Utica on March 30th as they face the Comets.
