Military Member Surprises Daughter at Caps Game
(Caps Outsider)
During just about every home game, the Capitals do a tribute to a military member, but the one held during Wednesday’s preseason loss to the Devils ranks as one of the best Caps fans have ever witnessed.
Lt. Joe Lemanek of the U.S. Navy returned from deployment from the Middle East and surprised his daughter, Kaitlyn, 8, while she was standing in for him during the introduction. Even the Caps themselves were cheering this.
CSN and the Caps have way more on this, but Caps Outsider’s contribution is approaching the father and daughter after the game and asking for a photo. They happily obliged, as Kaitlyn gave him a huge hug, before they got a tour of Capital One Arena.
Amazing photos of Lt. Joe Lemanek after he surprised his daughter Kaitlyn! #ALLCAPS
