Mascot hockey is no more, at least this year. The Caps decided to try something new on Kids Day at Verizon Center. Several mascots suited up for a No Holds Barred game of dodgeball during the second intermission Saturday. The stakes got even higher late in the game as each one was blindfolded.
Though we witnessed and photographed the entire event, we’re not sure who won.
