Rocking the Red With Mini Lightsabers

Remember the blinky bracelets? Those were sooooo last series. Plus, Philadelphia ruined them. So the Caps started Round 2 on Thursday by giving out blinky foam rods, which resemble training lightsabers for wannabe Jedi.

And… the sight was beautiful. The Verizon Center crowd waved them around like 19,000 mini Darth Vaders.

Unlike the bracelets, you can’t walk around wearing the mini rods (unless you jerry-rig them into the lining of your clothing, or something). But, we’ll always have the Internet evidence:
