Stingrays Raise More Than $15,000 for Church Shooting Families

In their special “Charleston Strong” jersey auction, the South Carolina Stingrays raised $15,459.06* for the families of the Mother Emanuel AME Church shooting victims. The team wore the jerseys for their opening night 2-1 victory against the Reading Royals.

The top-selling jersey was Caps prospect Vitek Vanecek, who did not play in the game, for $1,380. The average for all 22 jerseys was $702.68.
