Photos: Leap Toward a Cure 2014

Woooo! Hockey and charity! (Photos by Caps Outsider)

Caps Outsider participated in the fifth annual Leap Toward a Cure hockey tournament and community festival this past weekend at the Gardens Ice House in Laurel. Proceeds from the tournament go to the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, via the Andrea Henderson Memorial Fund. The tournament is played in memory of Andrea ‘Froggy’ Henderson, who was an art teacher at Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Greenbelt, Maryland, before passing away from cancer in 2009. She was also the faculty sponsor of the school’s ice hockey team. Here are our favorite photos.
