Strachan Strays Coming to Nats Park

Tyson Strachan leads a non-profit group committed to raising money and awareness to fight pet homelessness across the United States. (via @StrachanStrays)

Caps/Bears defenseman Tyson Strachan will be bringing his non-profit to Nationals Park on Sunday, June 1, against the Texas Rangers. Fans who purchase tickets via this link won’t just be donating to this cause, but will also have the chance to meet Strachan, get a photo with him on the field, and get a Strachan Strays t-shirt.

As for hockey, Strachan is an unrestricted free agent. Let’s hope the Caps re-sign him, because we know they didn’t leave him out of Fan Appreciation Day on purpose!

Follow @StrachanStrays on Twitter and check out www.strachanstrays.com.

Via the Nats:

Strachan Strays and Homeward Trails are passionate about promoting pet adoption from a network of responsible no-kill shelters here in the DC-area and across the United States. Their goal is to raise awareness and educate individuals on how they can make a difference in the fight to end pet homelessness.

Information on the meet and greet will be sent via email on May 30 to all fans who have purchased tickets.
