Caps Send Off Olympians

The Washington Capitals took to Twitter after Saturday’s 3-0 win to wish good luck to their teammates who are headed off to Sochi. But one of the better send-offs came from Astro Doughnuts and Fried Chicken on G Street, which part owned by former Caps captain and current Phoenix Coyote Jeff Halpern. They sent over USA doughnuts for the fellas. Or, maybe just John Carlson. We’ll also note that Halpern makes his way to the press box once in a while with doughnuts for everyone. And we love him for it.
Thanks @jeff_halpern @AstroDoughnuts for the send off gift!! pic.twitter.com/yClKfEH5Eq

Nice finish before the Olympic break. Wishing all our Olympians the best of luck in Sochi! Can't say who I'm cheering for though…
