Leonsis introduces his guest to Jose Theodore

Ted Leonsis had a special guest in his box this evening, a young boy who plays hockey, and is one of the Capitals biggest fans. However this boy is a bit different from the thousands of other youth players in the area, he can’t eat proteins. His father, Chris Johnson, explained that his son is allergic to 16 different food items, and has to eat through a tube. Ted hosted the family this evening, and brought the youngster down to the locker room to meet some of his heroes after the 7-4 victory. We shot some video of the exchange, which explains more about this remarkable boy, who scored 4 goals and had 2 assists today. Video after the jump.

Mr. Johnson, if you see this, please e-mail me at CapitalsOutsider@Gmail.com, so that I can arrange to get you the full quality video on a DVD.

What a great thing to do for such a deserving fan. The Caps have been a class act all 11 years I've been a fan. Every week the team gives all its fans a reason to be proud to Rock the Red. Thanks for everything you guys do on-and-off the ice.
