Congrats on Your First NHL Goal, Paul Carey!

(via the Caps)

Just called up from Hershey, Paul Carey (I wanted to sneak ‘Ace’ in there) scored his first NHL goal Saturday in New Jersey, tying the game at 2-2 down the stretch before the Caps won it in a shootout. The goal came off of a deflection from Matt Niskanen.

It was Carey’s third game with the Caps. The 27-year-old also played 22 games with the Colorado Avalanche the last two seasons.
