David Jacobson has signed a tryout agreement with the South Carolina Stingrays, Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Spencer Carbery announced last week.

His Senior year was cut short by injury, hence why he played fewer games. His Junior campaign makes him a great pickup by the Stingrays: 24-1-1 record, 1.26 GAA, .936% SV%, a D-III championship for the St. Norbert College Green Knights, and a Sid Watson Award, the D-III version of the NHL’s Hart Trophy, for him.
Last season, ECHL MVP Jeff Jakaitis led the Stingrays to the Kelly Cup Finals.
