Well, it wasn’t 7-0 this time, and we were treated to boring hockey for two periods while the Caps nursed a lead. Then we saw a fluky goal go in, which actually sparked the Caps to try. Then we saw both goalies look awful in the shootout, all resulting in a 2-1 victory for the Rangers.
Worst part: The 7:30 start took a half hour from my day.
