Going to a Caps game is hardly a full night out, particularly on the weekend. With games starting around 7, and regularly ending around 9:30, not everyone is in a hurry to jump on a crowded metro train when there is so much going on in Chinatown. So, where to go?
What the Hell Was That? Caps-Rangers Box Score
Well, it wasn’t 7-0 this time, and we were treated to boring hockey for two periods while the Caps nursed a lead. Then we saw a fluky goal go in, which actually sparked the Caps to try. Then we saw both goalies look awful in the shootout, all resulting in a 2-1 victory for the Rangers. Worst part: The 7:30 start took a half hour from my day. Click on the image for a larger view.
