24/7 Curse Count: Caps Easily Leading Pens

By

After the first HBO episode of 24/7 Penguins/Capitals, the Capitals lead the Penguins in curses, 54-17. The vast majority of the curses came from Washington Coach Bruce Boudreau, who had several expletive-filled speeches, the first of which came during the loss to Florida last Thursday.

The Caps used the F bomb 53 times, while the Penguins used it 15 times. The Penguins used the S word twice, with the Caps using it once.

There is a margin of error of +/- 3 as sometimes Canadiens are difficult to understand and there was only so much time I was willing to spend on dissecting the audio to see if they really said ‘puck.’
