Sunday night at Giant Center the Hershey Bears took on the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. Unfortunately for the Chocolate and White, the Phantoms won, 4-2.
The Bears currently sit in fifth place and are on the outside looking in at the post season. Head Coach Troy Mann said in a pre-game press interview with the voice of the Bears, Zack “The Shark” Fisch, that Hershey needs to treat these next seven games as a playoff series.
The magic number for Hershey to clinch a playoff position is 14 points. The next few weeks are critical for the Bears playoff hopes. Hopefully they can hit the reset button as the next three games will be on the road against Lehigh Valley, Rochester and Toronto.
The Bears will return to Giant Center for the regular season finale on April 15th against the Providence Bruins.
