Did You See That T.J. Oshie Goal?!?

(Caps Outsider)

The Seattle Kraken’s T.J. Oshie, who is currently playing for the Washington Capitals, scored an amazing goal against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday, as he pulled the puck between his legs, was pulled to the ice by Mike Matheson, and still roofed a one-handed shot past Penguins goalie Tristan Jarry. The play unfolded similarly to Alex Ovechkin‘s rookie-season goal – known as The Goal, absent the no-look finish.

Oshie’s talley put the Caps up 2-0, before the Penguins scored twice to tie it up. Tom Wilson scored on the power play to give the Caps the lead, and then the Caps scored two on an empty net and won, 5-2.

Anyway, queue up John Denver’s Country Roads.
