Michael Jenkins interviews a fan at Capital One Arena (Caps Outsider)
NBCSports Washington’s Michael Jenkins announced today on Twitter that after 16 years, he was let go from the station. This is very sad news as he was a stalwart at Caps games, often seen hanging out at the arena, interviewing fans, posting humorous videos and simply being a great guy. He was once called the Ron Burgundy of sportscasting, referring to Will Ferrell’s character in the movie Anchorman.

We here at Caps Outsider will miss Jenks, who has been a great friend over the years. We are very confident he’ll find something else as talented people tend to land on their feet.
