While just about everything in the world is being canceled, the March 28 blood drive will go on! But, they’re changing the location for people’s safety. Typically at MedStar Capitals Iceplex, now it will be at three Inova Blood Donor Services locations, and the times are spread out from Saturday, March 28 through Sunday, April 5.
Donors who registered to participate in the original blood drive at MedStar Capitals Iceplex and rescheduled their appointment to one of the new locations will receive a bobblehead featuring Capitals defenseman John Carlson as well as a Capitals T-shirt.
Inova Blood Donor Services will be reaching out to donors individually to confirm their appointment time and reschedule their donation location. Capitals fans with already scheduled appointments can also call Inova Blood Donor Services directly at 1-866-BLOODSAVES to confirm their appointment time and select their new location.
