For so-called Caps bobblehead experts (we own and operate the Hockey Bobblehead Database), we overlooked a very large one. Today, we learned of another 3-foot Alex Ovechkin bobblehead, in the pre-rock-the-red uniform, whatever that era was called. This, like the other 3-footers, were made in extremely limited edition and given to corporate sponsors.
Someone is selling one for $2,000 (or, the price of a single ticket to a game recently).

Own a piece of VERY RARE sporting memorabilia! 36″ Alexander Ovechkin bobblehead. Purchased at the Verizon Center 11/24/06. This is #7/100, Ovi owns #8/100. Handmade with serial number. These are typically given to corporate sponsors, so being able to own one is exceedingly rare, especially since this version was only available for one season. Pickup available in Columbia, MD.
