Washington Sports Stars Support the Capitals

The Washington Capitals are one victory away from a Championship, something that hasn’t happened in D.C. since the Redskins won the Super Bowl in 1992. With this epic Stanley Cup run, many sports stars in Washington want to join in the excitement and witness first hand what a Championship atmosphere looks like. Several of them have been following along for the entire post-season, and Game 4 in Washington presented a great opportunity to support the team in person. The Capitals took advantage of the Nationals’ schedule to invite Max Scherzer and Ryan Zimmerman to participate in the pregame festivities, but they were joined by many other local sports stars rocking the red at Capital One Arena on Monday evening. Here is a collection of twitter photos and videos documenting the stars we’ve found so far. Please let us know via Twitter if we’ve missed anyone.
