Stingrays Week 17 Recap: That’s It?

The Stingrays only played one game last week but made up for it by scoring five times in their 5-2 win over the Jacksonville Icemen, with 11 different players picking up a point.

Forwards, Tim McGauleyJoe Devin and Dylan Margonari all had two points, a goal and an assist a piece. Devin now has 40 points on the year, just one back from his career high during the 2015-16 campaign. Parker Milner stopped 31 shots on his way to win number 17 for the season.

The Stingrays have a Tuesday night game set for the Norfolk Admirals before a weekend matchup against the Brampton Beast. All games will be in North Charleston with puck drop at 7:05

Standings: The Stingrays sit just five points behind the Florida Everblades, who they have two games in hand on, for first in the south division. The Stingrays are 15 points clear of third place Atlanta who they have six games in hand on.
