Despite dogs, hockey players, bright lights and media being in the same room for several hours, the photo shoot for the annual charity dog calendar went off swimmingly Monday. Though Alex Ovechkin‘s dog, Blake, was quite the character, one of the more fun shoots was for Caps winger Tom Wilson. The fun part didn’t really involve the dog, but the many positions Wilson tried before we finally got the right shot.
The dog, Chad, was a rescue from Hurricane Harvey, and is up for adoption. Contact Homeward Trails Animal Rescue for more info.
Wilson is first given a cane, but 23-year-old hockey players don’t need canes.
His cane is replaced with an umbrella. But it’s not raining in the studio, so this doesn’t make sense.
