Stingrays One Win Away From Kelly Cup Finals
The Stingrays scored three goals in the third period on their way to a 3-1 win, putting them up 3-2 in their series with Manchester.
The only goal the Stingrays gave up was in their third straight penalty kill in the first period.

The Stingrays came out firing in the third determined to tie the game up. On a delayed penalty, and Milner on the bench, Steve McParland would fire a shot from center point that would deflect off a Monarch and past Sam Brittain.

Two minutes later, Olivier Archambault would tap home a beautiful pass from Cody Corbett into an empty net to give the Stingrays a 2-1 lead with 13:32 to go. The Stingrays had three power plays in the game and this was their only connection.

The Monarchs only mustered one shot on goal in the entire third period as the Stingrays would refuse to take their foot off the gas. With just over three minutes left, Kelly Zajac would put the icing on the cake.

Game 6 is on Monday at 7 in Manchester. If the Stingrays win, it will be their second trip to the Kelly Cup Finals in three years.
