In his postgame interview, head coach Barry Trotz confirmed that Paul Carey will travel to Toronto with the Capitals.
Carey is still on the Hershey Bears roster and therefore was a healthy scratch tonight. Carey was recently recalled after three injuries against Detroit last week. Carey appeared in one game before being sent back down to Hershey.
This season he has registered 14 points in 16 games with the Bears. Last season, Carey had 31 points in 44 games for the Bears.
