Stingrays Preview Promotional Nights, 7 Game Plan

While the full slate of promotional games will be released soon enough, the South Carolina Stingrays saw fit to provide fans a small preview of what to expect this upcoming season.

Fans will have access to all the promotional nights with the club’s new 7 Game Plan. Seats are guaranteed, the tickets start at $13, parking is free, and fans with the new package have first rights for 2017 Kelly Cup Playoff tickets. All buyers will be provided with an Account Representative to answer any questions they might have.

On New Year’s Eve against the Florida Everblades, Stingrays fans will want to get to the entrances early. It is Trevor Gilles Bobblehead Night, featuring the trademark arm flex he puts up after a dominant fight.

The fun begins, however, with a Magnetic Schedule giveaway from Savage Law Firm on Opening Night against the Greenville Swamp Rabbits. The first 5,000 fans in the door will receive this token.

January 28 will see the Everblades and Stingrays face off. After the game, the “special jerseys” worn by the Stingrays will be auctioned off to fans to benefit the local Ronald McDonald House. No specification was provided on what these jerseys might look like. The game will also feature a Youth Jersey Giveaway.

The most popular night of the year, Pack the House Night, is being combined with another favorite, Military Appreciation Night presented by APECS Aerospace. February 18 against the Manchester Monarchs will have all tickets at $10. Game-worn jerseys will be auctioned off after the game.

March 11 will see a different colored ice take over the North Charleston Coliseum. For the 11th year in a row, the Stingrays will hold a Pink in the Rink night presented by Trident Health. The team’s pink themed jerseys, to be auctioned off after the game to benefit Share Our Suzy, combine with the pink ice to help fight breast cancer.

A special bobblehead will be given away to fans as part of the Pink in the Rink game against Florida.

As of now, only those five promotions and the new 7 Game Plan are in store for the next season. The Rays are 24 days away from their first of three preseason matchups with the Alasks Aces.
