Caps’ stars showed up tonight in Game 5. Take the momentum into Pittsburgh for Tuesday. See you in D.C. for Thursday’s Game 7, Caps.

Pregame

Anxiety level 10/10 – Just remember, the President’s Trophy winners did it to us last year!

1st period

16:00 left, Anxiety level 9/10: High glove side on Murray all day baby

13:00 left, Anxiety level 10/10: Can’t be taking penalties in the offensive zone.

2nd period

20:00 left, Anxiety 10/10: Now we actually have to turn chances into goals.

16:00 left, Anxiety 8/10: Have we finally solved the Pens PK? Bodes well if there’s a Game 6…

10:00 left, Anxiety level 7/10: Based on how this series has gone, seems more like a typical goal the Caps would give up, not get. But hey I’ll take it!

3:30 left, Anxiety 8/10: DANGER – THERE’S A HOLTBEAST ON THE LOOSE.

3rd period

20:00 left, Anxiety level 7/10: Good for Bruce.

15:00 left, Anxiety 8/10: Holtbeast not letting this season end tonight.

7:00 left, Anxiety 8/10: Alright cool, Doc says Hershey won.

00:30 left, Anxiety 3/10: Pens with zero shots on goal with the extra skater? Maximal effort from the boys till the end.

00:00: Don’t worry, I already have my tickets to Game 7.
