A couple of times a season, the Caps host a ‘Puck Surprise’ by selling autographed pucks to fans to raise money for charity. The ‘surprise’ is the autograph – no one knows who they will get. But five lucky winners get blank pucks that simply say ‘winner,’ which gives them the opportunity to meet a player after the game and get their autograph. On Saturday, the winners got to meet Justin Williams, who scored the first goal of the game in the 7-3 win against the Avalanche.

The winners:

  • Danielle Kichler, from Washington D.C.
  • Joy Hampton, from Herndon Va.
  • Tim Judd, from Bristow, Va.
  • Nicole Thornton, from Fairfax.
  • Sandy Noratel, from Westminster, Md.

Congratulations to the winners! Please e-mail me at Capitals Outsider.
