Former Cap Stephen Peat Pleads Guilty to Arson

Former Washington Capitals pugilist and one-time fan favorite Stephen Peat pleaded guilty to starting a fire at his father’s home in Vancouver back in March, during a domestic dispute.

Peat, 35, played 130 games for the Caps between 2001 and 2006. He’s scheduled to be sentenced in November.
