This is starting to hurt. The Caps are losing or have already parted ways with Mike Green, Steve Oleksy, probably Joel Ward and Eric Fehr, and now Troy Brouwer. While we’re totally psyched to get T.J. Oshie, Brouwer provided us with lots of great memories. Let’s revisit some of them.
He posed for the best photo I’ve ever taken in my life:

… that his wife hated, and thus made ones without the ‘stache.
He gave me a fantastic quote, only to realize I was a reporter and then he tried to play it off like he was kidding. “I don’t look at the logo, I don’t study it, I just play for it.”

If I had any say, the Brouwer Rangers will continue to be the Brouwer Rangers, even with Brouwer gone.
