This week, the Washington Capitals headed out to the warm, warm state of California. Huge emphasis on warm.
And the Caps’ dads joined in on the trip as well. They all got to go behind the scenes with their sons. They got to watch practice, watch game film, eat with the team. All sorts of stuff. And during the games, they all got to watch from a suite.
Afterwords, they would head down to the locker room to hang out with their sons and congratulate them on a good game.
All of the Caps truly appreciate having their dads tag along, because they’ve all helped them along their hockey careers.

Great to have the man who helped me so much along the way be able to share the experience this week. #fatherstrip pic.twitter.com/1QqgdcqnUY
