January Slapshot Bobble of the Month
Photos by Caps Outsider
January 1st was a big day for Caps fans. Not only was it the Winter Classic, but it was also the release of the fourth Slapshot Bobble of the Month. Most people could have guessed that this bobblehead would “bring in the new year” with its theme, and the bobble is indeed dressed and ready to party.
This bobblehead features Slapshot in a nice New Years suit and a red bowtie that’s a bit hard to see underneath all of his facial feathers. He’s got one of the little horns you can blow into with streamers on the end in one hand. In very small print it says “Capitals” on it, which makes it the second bobbling feature of the past two bobbleheads. On his head he’s got a top hat that says “Happy New Year” and on the base in red and gold is “2015.” Behind him is a New Years ball which, like the one in Times Square, drops down the pole. The pole is metal and inside the ball is a magnet so you can place it wherever you like.

This, again, is what we expected for the January bobblehead and we hope to make it 5 for 5 with our guesses when a Cupid Slapshot is revealed on February 1st.
