For those of you who already bought tickets to the Jan. 20 game specifically to come home with a shiny new Alex Ovechkin 40th anniversary bobblehead, you’ve got more tickets to buy. The Caps changed the bobblehead giveaway date to Feb. 19, when the Caps take on the Jets. While it’s not uncommon for bobblehead delays due to customs, weather, or shipping mishaps (I’m not making any of that up), this one was a bit unfortunate due to the fact that fans had already set their schedules around this date.

ALSO: As of this writing, the Caps mobile site still says the bobblehead night presented by Verizon is on Jan. 20. That is incorrect. I’ve alerted the Caps and hopefully they’ll update that soon.
