After a delay due to the weather and U.S. customs, the long-awaited Nicklas Backstrom bobblehead meant to be given out at the last Caps Inova Blood Drive is now available for pick-up at Kettler or Verizon Center outside section 104 for all remaining home games. You must bring your voucher or ID to redeem this prize.
This is simply the best news since he won that silver medal in the Olympics on Friday, weeks after the games ended.
By our count, this is the fifth Backstrom bobblehead (or Garden Gnome) in limited production, but this one is different – it has INOVA on the front. We’ll eventually review this for collectors.
