Alex Urbom’s Biggest Moment With the Capitals

Defenseman Alex Urbom, who was waived by the Capitals and reclaimed by the New Jersey Devils, didn’t play very long in Washington, just 20 games this season since the Caps picked him up from the Devils in October. But some may remember his one shining moment against the Islanders when Tom Wilson‘s heroic pass while sliding landed on Urbom’s stick for a one-timer slap shot. The Caps won the game, 6-2.

As a final tribute to a player who has more goals than Martin Erat in half as many games, let’s revisit this goal. Note that this is one of Wilson’s better moments this season, as well.
