#MyWinterClassic Outdoor Rinks

Living in the Washington metro area, we don’t often have the chance to construct an outdoor rink. So the tradition that is such a part of being a hockey fan and player up north isn’t easily understood by Capitals fans. Sure we’ll enjoy hosting our Winter Classic next season, but we didn’t grow up with a rink in our backyard or playing outside all winter. To make us jealous of what that’s like, @NHLonNBCSports has started a hashtag to make us drool.
