A Quick Look at the Jay Beagle Bobblehead

Posted December 19, 2013

As we already know, the next Inova bobble is going to be Caps forward Jay Beagle. Inova has just released a picture of the bobblehead, which you’ll be picking up on January 4th at Kettler Capitals Iceplex after donating some blood.

Here’s what we think of this. At least it’s got a cool base. I mean really though, it’s got a really cool base. The base is Capitals-themed colors with the Weagle on the bottom and an Inova label that curves along it. Oh yeah and there’s a bobblehead standing on top of it that’s not so eye catching. Now, in some ways it does resemble Beagle, but in other ways it looks like someone who just got finished getting botox. Now it may not be as bad as it sounds, and maybe the Beagle bobble just isn’t photogenic, but he’s still dawning a Caps jersey which means he’s a must-have in your collection.

There are still 172 appointment slots open, all after 2:15pm, so make sure you don’t forget to sign up because it’s a lot more than just getting a bobblehead, which you may have to remind yourself multiple times while giving up a pint for this one.

Heres a side by side comparison of Beagle and his Bobble.
