Tom Wilson got into his first regular season NHL fight Thursday (excluding preseason), dropping gloves with Calgary’s Lance Bouma in the first period, right after Caps defenseman Jack Hillen was injured. Apparently not learning anything from what happened to Montreal’s George Parros the other night, Wilson slammed Bouma into the ice. Bouma didn’t appear to suffer the same fate as Parros, though, and the two sat for five minutes.

The Caps didn’t gain any momentum from it, however, as they went down 3-0 in the first period.
