A few weeks ago Alex Ovechkin filmed a commercial with Verizon, where he recruited some random folks for a game of pick-up hockey. The scene took place out on F Street in front of the arena, and although obviously staged for a commercial, it’s still pretty damn cool. The video has finally been released and you can watch it below. Thankfully nobody tried to lay any big hits on the super star.
